Cast

British actor Christina Chong who appeared in Doctor Who, 24, and Black Mirror will allegedly play a supporting role in the seventh episode of Star Wars. Joining Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega, the actress will be part of the movie that is slated to come out on December 18, 2015!

Also part of the cast are the classic Stormtroopers, as confirmed by The Jay and Silent Bob actor Kevin Smith. He revealed that he was very emotional on set after signing a non-disclosure agreement, and this was pretty evident on his recent Instagram post captioned: "Visited JJ and his EP VII set. I signed the NDA so all I can share are this old Bantha-Tracks subscriber's tears and snotty nose of joy. The Force is WITH this movie. Holy Sith..."

While JJ Abrams tries to keep every detail about the upcoming film under the blanket, the Clerks director just couldn't hide his excitement about the rising revelations and returns of certain characters, including the fictional soldiers of George Lucas Star Wars Stormtroopers.

As per Flickering Myth, the actor instantly nodded while smiling from ear to ear when he was asked about the return of these characters.

"I'm really excited," he exclaimed "And you know, people keep saying that I liked the last trilogy and I did. I liked [Episode] 1, 2 and 3. But I liked them as an adult - when I watched them they didn't give me the same feeling I had when I was seven watching them for the first time and that's fine."

The Stormtroopers are the main ground-force of the Galactic Empire led by Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, and Grand Moff Tarkin. The first troopers were cloned in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the clones and executed the Order 66 during Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The Stormtroopers were then stationed on Imperial bases as well as on the Death Star, and despite their leader's defeat, the troopers continued serving under the factions that broke apart from the Empire.

As to how they will be depicted in the upcoming episode, is still unknown. But the intensity of the plot might live up to the high expectations of fans across the globe as Kevin shared: "This movie though... Dude, I cried four times... [J.J] has f**king captured it, man. He has nailed it."

Will they still be the same versions of troopers that we've seen before (equipped in white battle armor)? Let us know about your thoughts and expectations on Star Wars: Episode 7. Sound off in the comments section below!
