Supposedly, there are two more artists who are scheduled for concert in Israel. However, the cancelled their concert tour in Israel due to security fears.
Paul Anka has postponed his two shows which were scheduled on July 24 and 26 in the said country, but he hopes to reschedule the shows in the future. Anka is very popular in Israel. He appeared there twice since 2009.
The following statement from his rep according to VintageVinylNews:
"Due to the current situation in the Middle East, Paul Anka and the local promoters will be postponing his upcoming concerts scheduled for July 24 and 26, 2014. Management is in constant communication with our local promoter friends, trying to find a solution to the rescheduled dates. Once this is worked out in the next few days the local promoter will make the announcement. We ask all current ticket holders to keep their tickets and await that announcement. Mr. Anka assures you that once the local situation is resolved, he will be there with the latest version of his fantastic performance."
Aside from Anka, VintageVinylNews said that Backstreet Boys band also has planned shows in Israel on July 29, 30 and 31, but they also postponed it.
The official statement of Backstreetboys' rep,
"We are very sorry to inform you that the BSB concerts planned for July 29-30-31 at the Ra'anana Amphitheater have been postponed. This is a major disappointment for the band and fans as this was to be our first visit to Israel and we looked forward to meeting our fans. We're already working with the producers on new dates during spring 2015 and will notify everyone about this as soon as possible. Sending lots of love to everyone."
