Lee Jin Wook, Jung Yong Hwa, Yang Dong Geun, and Jung Hae In shed their swords for a more contemporary interpretation of their upcoming drama "The Three Musketeers."
For the August issue of fashion magazine "Vogue," the drama actors traded their robes for black suits, and their katanas for shining armours, giving a modern feel to the classic story of "The Three Musketeers."
"The Three Musketeers" is the reimagining of the classic tale by incorporating a historical drama format. Lee Jin Wook will portray the character of Prince So Hyeon, and the remaining actors will be his 'three musketeers,' with Jung Yong Hwa playing Park Dal Hyang, the D'Artagnan of the series.
During the interview, the actors talked about their respective characters, as well as their teamwork as the famed 'three musketeers.' They will also share some funny and stunt-filled episodes while filming the program
The drama is written by scriptwriter Song Jae Jung and directed by PD Kim Byung Soo, the team behind tvN's "Queen In Hyun's Man" and "Nine: Nine Time Travels." It will follow a three-season format, with twelve episodes per season
Meanwhile, "The Three Musketeers" is scheduled to premiere on August 17, and will air one episode every Sunday.
