Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's reconciliation is still unofficial yet it appears to be possible. Last Sunday, the Coldplay singer was spotted going to LA solo after a lunch date with estranged wife Gwyneth. ABC reported that a source saw the couple enjoying lunch in Montauk, N.Y., at Joni's Kitchen on Friday and "sat down at the picnic tables" for a "relaxed meal."
The "Speed of Sound" singer is reportedly having a good family time in the Hamptons this past week. The New York Post reported that Martin took the kids to Gubbins Sporting Goods in East Hampton where they purchased a skateboard. Afterwards, Martin and their children met up with Paltrow at Fierro's Pizza.
E! News also reported that the family was seen dining together at Bay Kitchen Bar in Springs.
Back in June, People Magazine reported that the couple appears to consider getting back together. Reportedly, a friend of the couple is agreeing with the possibility.
"They haven't made any concrete decision to get back together yet, but clearly it's a possibility. At this point, some of the pressure was just taken off them - pressure they put on themselves to "make it work," says a friend of the couple.
Is it really a sign for an ongoing rapprochement for the couple? Or are they doing it for the children? There seems to be another side to be considered.
Page Six reported that the actress was spotted enjoying a date with another "hot young guy" on Tuesday in New York. A source said that they are seen at the East Village's Narcissa restaurant.
"He had curly, shaggy hair and looked like he was in his 30s," the source described the said man.
Meanwhile, Martin was romantically linked to model Alexa Chung, though Chris's representatives denied it to E! News saying that "They are not dating."
The couple made it clear when they announced they were splitting last March that they were doing so in good terms.
"We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate. We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been," the couple wrote in a statement on Gwyneth's lifestyle website GOOP.
