"Star Wars 7" cast Harrison Ford moved on from injury as he gets on the private jet all by himself with an aid of the iWalk.

In a series of photos published on MailOnline, "Star Wars 7" cast Harrison Ford even drove the car on the way to his private jet himself, proving his independent streak. His wife Calista Flockhart and their son Liam was also in the car.

The 72-year-old "was determined to carry some items himself, including a bottle of wine and piece of paper while making his way up the stairs to the plane," even if there was his wife to lend assistance, the tabloid said.

The actor has been using the iWalk hands-free crutch, a device which allows the person to use the knee to support the weight withough putting additional strain to the injured ankle, for example.

Shortly after breaking his ankle, "Star Wars 7" said that it was an offshoot of him trying to do his own stunts even if he acknowledged that he's already a "battered old Ford."

"I keep on coming back for more. If it doesn't look real on the screen then an audience does not believe what it sees," he said. "Although I do my own running, jumping and falling, I always try to keep myself from being hurt. So I know what will work and what won't."

Early this month, Disney released a statement that "Star Wars Episode VII" will be stopped for two weeks in August due to the Harrison Ford injury, according toAssociated Press.

However, the studio assured that the film is still on pace to be released for its target December 2015 release despite Harrison Ford's injury.

Last month, Disney issued a statement: "Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of 'Star Wars: Episode VII.' He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue while he recuperates."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Harrison Ford was injured by the door of the Millenium Falcon, the iconic spacecraft that his character, Han Solo, and sidekick Chewbacca, used.
