"Once Upon A Time" season 4 spoilers hinted of a new character in the "Frozen" arc and he's no other than Prince Hans, as Elizabeth Mitchell is up for an Ice vs. Ice battle.

The E! News revealed "Once Upon A Time" season 4 spoilers when it reported that Prince Hans-like character will have a recurring role when the series resumes. The character is described as "refined and well-spoken on the outside, but he has a serious chip on his shoulder and an even more serious mean streak."

Those who watched "Frozen" will recognize Prince Hans as the charming rogue who almost succeeded in marrying Princess Anna in his attempt to gain control of the kingdom.

The Bustle site said the story for the "Frozen" arc is "kept tightly under wraps." Although Elizabeth Mitchell was recently reported to join the cast, details of her role were not released. Various sites, however, assumed she was going to play the villain.

"Recent reports suggest that Mitchell will play either Elsa and Anna's mother or the original Snow Queen, so that means she's out as a truly malevolent force. Leaving us with Hans and the many ways his revenge against Anna and Elsa could play out,"Bustle added on its "Once Upon A Time" season 4 spoilers.

According to Inquistr, there's a theory that OUAT will tweak the story to make it appear that Queen Elsa's mother is still alive even if she presumably died in "Frozen." She could be saved by the mermaid Ariel when she saw the shipwreck.

Writer Edward Kitsis confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that "Elizabeth Mitchell's character is connected both to the world of Arendelle and the world of Storybrooke."

According to Inquistr, based on the previous report by EW, Elizabeth Mitchell's character might be the
"malevolent" Snow Queen which could set up an Ice vs. Ice battle with Queen Elsa.
