On Jason Statham latest news, "The Transporter" star isn't just your broody and cool professional driver anymore - the actor is also a competitive diver!

In a new footage released from the BBC on Wednesday, the "The Italian Job" star is shown participating in the 1990 Commonwealth Games in England as a competitive diver. In the usual swimmer fashion, he was wearing only a Speedo as he competes in the one-meter and three-meter springboard. He even went as far as to try out the 10-meter platform!

The actor may be trying out different thins nowadays but doesn't mean he's any good at them. After one jump, Statham almost erased that pretty face of his as he face-planted into the pool. He placed at eight place, which is his best score from all three events.

Jason used to swim before he started acting. He quit diving in the early 90s Statham and was then signed by clothing brand French Connection and later appeared in several music videos.

He was later spotted by director Guy Ritchie and was cast as Bacon in the 1998 hit Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

On July 21, we see him with his usual shaven head as he was spotted with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley out with their groceries at Bristol Farms on Monday evening in Los Angeles.

Rosie, 27and the 46-year-old actor looked like a happy average couple having fun. The model also tweeted about a recent endeavor recently. "Thrilled to be the new face of @paigedenim can't wait to #LIVEINIT #STAYTUNED #PROJECTINTHEWORKS" Rosie recently tweeted. "So happy to be the new face of @paigedenim #LIVEINIT #PROJECTINTHEWORKS," she added later.
