"Sons of Anarchy" final season will premiere this September as confirmed by the show's creator Kurt Sutter just this week during the San Diego Comic-Con, as he also hinted of a possible prequel of teh SAMCRO.

The "Sons of Anarchy" final season will continue right where the season 6 finale left off, according to Deadline, where Jackson "Jax" Teller, the show's lead star Charlie Hunnam's character, discovered the bodies of his murdered wife Tara and Sheriff Eli in their house. While Teller is seeking the suspect of the murder, he was left unaware that his own mother Gemma (played by Katey Sagal) is the suspect in the crime.

Fans may get to rejoice sometime in the near future as Sutter has mentioned during the Comic-Con panel that plans to create a prequel to the SAMCRO (Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Original) story is possible. However, it's still in the early development stage and would want to pass a couple of more years before starting to reveal the roots of SAMCRO. Sutter also said that it may come as a full or mini-series.

"We are having serious conversations about our prequel. My sense is right now that I don't know if it will be a full-on series or a mini-series," Kurt Sutter said.

The appearance of the "Sons of Anarchy" cast in the panel last July 27 may be their last, and although Charlie Hunnam is not in attendance due to a scheduled Vogue photoshoot, the lead star of the show sent a recorded video message.

The show's creator also took advantage of the Comic-Con panel appearance to give the "Sons of Anarchy" fans a treat to a preview of the upcoming season.

"Sons of Anarchy" final season will have an hour-and forty-five-minute-long pilot episode. Don't miss watching the last season starting September 9 at FX.
