Which smartphone is the ideal choice for consumers? We pit the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 against the iPhone 4 to see which device is worth the purchase.

For the design and displaye, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is equipped with a PLS TFT display that measures 3.8 inches and it can render a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It weighs 122 grams and comes with the dimensions: 118.3 x 62.2 x 10.5 mm.

For battery usage and camera specs, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 has a slightly better lasting battery: the Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery unit that can last up to 7 hours and 30 minutes of talking time (3G). As for the iPhone 4, it comes with a Li-Po battery that has a capacity of 1420 mAh and can last around 7 hours of talking time (3G).

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 has a rear-facing camera of 5MP (LED flash + autofocus) and a VGA front-facing camera, while the iPhone 4 also comes with a 5MP main camera (LED flash + autofocus) and the secondary camera is a VGA camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 cost around $157.0, while the iPhone 4 8GB variant is at $173.95.
