As the frontman of a world-renowned rock band, it was only natural that Adam Levine performed with Maroon 5 at his own wedding reception last July 19. What surprised the crowd however, was Behati Prinsloo's surprise serenade for her new groom.
The Victoria's Secret model reportedly went up on stage and sang "First Day Of My Life" by the Bright Eyes. She, of course, dedicated it to her "The Voice" coach husband.
"Everyone cheered for her," one of the lucky people who witnessed the gorgeous couple say "I do," told People.
Levine's performance with Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks as well as ska punk band Sublime's set entertained the 300 attendees.
Family and friends of the couple joined in the festivities, including Levine's groomsmen and longtime friends, Jonah Hill (who also officiated the ceremony), Hill's brother and Maroon 5's manager Jordan Feldstein, and Jason Segel.
Prinsloo's bridesmaids, on the other hand, were reported to be consisted mainly of her Victoria's Secret colleagues.
Robert Downey, Jr. and Erin Heatherton were also at the wedding held at a private resort in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico.
"Everyone was having so much fun. Adam and Behati didn't stop smiling the entire night," People reports a guest as saying about the fun and sentimental night.
Previous news also reports 100 security personnel roaming the Flora Farms grounds to keep the wedding as private and exclusive as possible.
Several speeches made the crowd laugh at the reception that was designed and coordinated by Yifat Oren and Stefanie Cove. Guests only took about an hour to feast on organic pork chops, fresh fish and beet salads, as well as alcohol-laced paletas or Mexican popsicles.
"Most people finished eating in under an hour and were ready to party," another source told People.
"This was a dancing crowd,"another guest shared. "Everyone was dancing late into the night."
It looks like Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine's wedding was a big hit.
