Castle Rock Entertainment featured Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton in And So It Goes movie. Douglas and Keaton may come in too slow in picking things up for the film.

The unpleasantness of the rich and old character that Douglas portrayed may very well put a strain on audiences' viewership enjoyment. Keaton's character also failed to emanate any warmth.

It is only when the character of young actress Sterling Jerins come in to the picture that things begin to light up a bit. However, the actress' characters did not pick up the excitement pace for the film, until much later on.

Director Rob Reiner appeared in a cameo in the film as a piano player with romantic feelings for Keaton. It can be clearly seen that Reiner struggled in making it in a rom-com film.

And So It Goes movie director also brought "Stand By Me", "This Is Spinal Tap" and "When Harry Met Sally" to the big screens.

The oldies "twilight years" love is something that's just become too common in recent times. However, it does not mean this movie theme will likely bore the audiences to death. The plot of the latest Douglas-Keaton film starrer can very well remind audiences of its similarity with the plot of "On Golden Pond, starring Henry Fonda and Katharine Hepburn.

The cast members of And So It Goes movie may have done everything they can to entertain the audiences. But, they still left many viewers struggle to make sense of the appeal the movie gives.
