"Star Wars Episode 7" rumors point to "Superman" actor Henry Cavill joining the set as a jedi, as cast Harrison Ford is doing very well after his ankle injury while shooting scenes for the Disney film.

The "Star Wars Episode 7" rumors started when director Zack Snyder posted on Twitter a photo of Henry Cavill with a Jedi robe on and holding a red lightsaber weapon. He then captioned the image with a simple hashtag, "#SuperJedi."

"Cavill's handsome face is partially covered by a hood but his chiseled jaw, lips and nose can still be seen. Behind Cavill is a backdrop of dark, foggy weather," E! Newsdescribed the image.

The website also weighed in on the latest "Star Wars Episode 7" rumor about Henry Cavill being cast as a Jedi. "While we're not sure why Snyder posted the photo of Cavill, he makes a pretty convincing man of The Force," it said.

Meanwhile, Mark Hamill told BBC during the "Guardians of Galaxy" premiere in UK that the 72-year-old husband of Calista Flockhart is recuperating after his ankle injury on the set.

"I was not on set. It was really terrible, but I hear he's doing really well. It will take more than that to stop Harrison Ford," he said.

Earlier, MailOnline published photos showing Harrison Ford driving a car on the way to his private jet himself. His wife Calista Flockhart and their son Liam was also in the car.

The 72-year-old "was determined to carry some items himself, including a bottle of wine and piece of paper while making his way up the stairs to the plane," even if there was his wife to lend assistance, the tabloid said.

Shortly after breaking his ankle, "Star Wars 7" said that it was an offshoot of him trying to do his own stunts even if he acknowledged that he's already a "battered old Ford."

"I keep on coming back for more. If it doesn't look real on the screen then an audience does not believe what it sees," he said.
