Mariah Carey showed up in "Hercules" premiere, starring Dwyane Johnson, in Los Angeles in a surprise appearance following her photoshoot-photoshop scandal a week ago.

Wearing a mini black dress with an over-plunging neckline, Mariah Carey strut the red carpet at the "Hercules" premiere. She also took time to chat with fans and pose for photos during the premiere.

According to Celebuzz, Mariah showed up in the "Hercules" movie premiere in support to a good friend of hers, Brett Ratner who directed the movie.

In a Twitter post, Mariah expressed her satisfaction with the film saying it is "A+++mazing movie!" tagging the official Twitter accounts of Brett and the Hercules film.

The 45-year old singer, who is married to TV host Nick Cannon is not the only one who shone in the red carpet premiere. Singer Kylie Minogue, Irina Shayk, Eddie Murphy and hot girlfriend Paige Butcher.

A week before Mariah Carey showed up at "Hercules" premiere, she was involved in a photoshop scandal due to a series of photos leaked by Jezebel.com. The site was the source of the photoshopped pictures of Mariah on a lingerie outfit that shows a thinner, tanned and stretch-mark free Mariah whereas the unretouched pictures showed otherwise.

The photos were supposedly done for Mariah Carey's cover for Wonderland magazine. The photos were taken by notorious photographer Terry Richardson who is known for his point-and-shoot style. The leaked edited pictures showed no signs of Terry's original shots, though and Jezebel.com implies that Wonderland thought of editing the pictures because "Uncle Terry's point-and-shoot-built-in-flash style isn't flattering enough for publication."

Mariah Carey nor Teddy Richardson commented on the issue.

Moreover, Mariah is hinting on an upcoming tour for her recent album release, "Me. I Am Mariah...The Elusive Chanteuse."

Following a newly-built website, mariahcarey.com, a recorded video of the "Beautiful" singer was posted on the homepage to welcome all the "lambs", as what she calls her fans.

"Hi lambs, welcome to the brand new mariahcarey.com. Stay tuned as we continue adding more sections and pow moments to the site. We're also gonna be coming up with some festive contests for the lambily! Lastly, I just wanted to thank everyone for always supporting me. You know Me. I Am Mariah... It's only the beginning! The elusive Chanteuse dahhlings! I can't wait to see you when I hit the road, starting very soon and I'm very excited about it! Love ya much, bye bye!" -Mariah"

Mariah Carey's "Me. I Am Mariah...The Elusive Chanteuse" album peaked at number three on Billboard 100, Vibe.com reported.
