Good news Marvel fans! ABC's Agents Of S.H.I.E.LD. will have new characters for season 2.
The cast Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. were the last to present during the panel discussion in San Diego Comic-Con 2014 last week, but before they got started Marvel rolled out a pre-recording video featuring Patton Oswalt's characters the Agent Koenig twins.
Two Marvel characters are added to the show and they are Bobbi Moorse a.k.a. Mockingbird and Jessica Drew a.k.a. Spider-Woman.

Mockingbird was mentioned during the video opening for the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel. As for Spider-Woman, Behind The Panels reports that writer Mark Waid hinted that she will join the show very soon.
“This is S.H.I.E.L.D. the TV show, the unlimited budget edition.This is our chance to introduce a lot of the other characters into the Marvel Universe, and give them the Marvel Universe spin.”
These two characters have been key members of both S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers in the Marvel Comics. Mockingbird fought alongside her husband Hawkeye in the Avengers, while Spider-Woman's history in the comics has met with distrust and secrecy regarding her past status as a double agent for both S.H.I.E.L.D. and HYDRA.
Other character to join the season 2 include Agent Isabelle Hartley (played by Lucy Lawless), S.T.R.I.K.E. director Lance Striker (Nick Blood), and HYDRA agent Daniel Whitehall (Reed Diamond).
Meanwhile, there have been reports that Chloe Bennet's character Skye will develop powers in season 2.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2 will likely focus on Skye's mysterious past and everyone knows that Skye is not human to begin with. There have several rumors and theories surrounding Skye's origin, and her parents as well.
Furiousfanboys.com reported before that Skye is an Inhuman as the website further mentioned that Karnak and Maximus the Mad are possibly is her biological father in the show.
Although the show's creators have not confirmed if the two will show up in the season 2, a Reddit user named King Chibi allegedly claimed that Karnak is Skye's father and a possible Kree invasion will take place in Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

ComicBook.com reports that an allege Marvel Facebook fan page claimed that Skye will have abilities similar to the Inhuman character Crystal in which she has elemental powers, but as it turns out it was nothing more than a fan's suggestion for the writers of the show.
