It seems like Megax Fox is joining the Transformers 5 cast alongside Shia LaBeouf if the negotiations between them and the studios pan out,
According to reports from The Latino Post, Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox are rumored to make a comeback in Transformers 5. Both LaBeouf and Fox's characters Sam Whitwicky and Mikaela Banes were the first two humans that befriended the Autobots on earth and eventually became their allies in their fight against the Decepticons in the first Transformers movie and in the sequel Revenge of the Fallen.
Megan Fox is currently starring in another upcoming movie, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as the news reporter April O'Neil. MoviePilot.com conducted an interview with Megan Fox regarding her return in the Transformers franchise.
"I'm not sure if I'll return. As long as things are good between everyone and Shia returns with me I'd like to see us partner up with the new cast like a crossover."
Shia LaBeouf previously said that he's doubtful that he'd return to the franchise:
"It would be good to do another film but I doubt with the new changes since the third film that Megan could return you know, it might be a love war if me or Rosie both return you know its not that i don't think about it." He adds, "But no, I highly doubt I'll be back for another one. I'll do another Michael Bay film but not Transformers."
however the Movie News Hound has reported that Shia LaBeouf has agreed to join the Transformers 5 cast under unspecified conditions and that the producers of the film are now talking with Megan Fox in hopes of getting her back into the Transformers 5 cast.
Screenrant reports that Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura doesn't want to get into details about the movie.
It's an exhausting process to make these movies. The scale of them is so enormous. It really does tax everybody and our tendency is to finish one at a time, recover, and then begin talking."
