"Castle" season 7 premiere is nearing, and fans just want more spoilers!

In an interview during his Comic-Con stint, Nathan Fillion dished out on a few "Castle" details to TVLine. When asked about the horrible car crash in season 6, Fillion just said, "I wasn't really worried."

"I think it's going to be fun," he added in reference to the new mythology writers are coming up with for season 7. The new mythology reportedly involves the unravelling of Rick Castle's past and kept secrets.

In a separate TVLine interview, show creator Andrew Marlowe shared some details about season 7, and how it will bring fans on a more personal level with Rick.

"We're looking to open up some really interesting aspects of storytelling for the Castle character, who hasn't been as deeply explored as Beckett over the past six years - and we're really excited by that opportunity," Marlowe said.

"The mythology we're getting into is going to go past all that [Bracken and 3XK theories] into some new territory."

New show boss David Amman shared how this new mythology will affect Beckett, saying: "Things that are going to come to light that are going to be unsettling for Beckett. I don't think what happened to Castle is going to disrupt the trajectory of that relationship, at least not in the long term."

But what fans are dying to know about is whether Castle and Beckett will finally get married this season. When asked about the much awaited scene, Fillion just replies with, "How much longer can we make people wait for a wedding?"

"Castle" season 7 will premiere on September and will have 23 episodes.
