Looks like Microsoft and 343 Industries are very determined to deliver the classic experience of the upcoming Halo: The Master Chief Collection to all the fans of the franchise, even if they come with the classic glitches that the company has revealed over the year.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is intended to offer the core titles of the series on the new Xbox One home console as well as to bring better graphics for both the actual gameplay and cut scenes.
While the visuals are updated, 343 Industries developers want to maintain the gameplay as close to the original as possible, which means that all glitches can be reproduced.
Franchise development director Frank O'Connorsays that gamers can have infinite ammo or explore areas of the levels that seem impossible to access. Also, 343 Industries will include text and other information in The Master Chief Collection to ensure that all players understand why the glitches are still included and why they are significant in the franchise.
The cutscenes are re-designed to deliver a clearer storyline, and once gamers finish Halo 4, they can watch the all new footage that will offer more details about Halo 5: Guardians.
343 Industries also claims that the entire soundtrack of the series has been re-recorded with help from the Skywalker Orchestra for a more immersive experience to the fans.
Frank O’Connor has added that his team is creating a complex new system in order to track a player’s preferences when it comes to multiplayer, which will include more than 100 maps taken from the Halo titles.
The Master Chief Collection will track playstyles and will also introduce a voting screen to make sure that gamers never play on a map they do not like. Microsoft has already said that both a modern and a classic set of modes will be offered.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be launched on the Xbox One on November 11 of this year, while the new Halo: Guardians is expected to arrive on the same platform at some point late in 2015.
