Singer-actress Lea Michele will join "Sons of Anarchy" on the seventh and last season of the FX series, the actress confirmed. Another good news is that Lea also found a new man, Matthew Paetz.
The announcement of Lea Michele's guest role in "Sons of Anarchy" was made through posts on her Twitter account.
"Woke up so excited today! Fun news to share..."
"I'll be appearing on an episode of my favorite show @SonsofAnarchy! Thank you so much @Harparbar & @sutterink" #SOAFX
Lea also shared to her over four million followers a photo of her on the set of "Sons of Anarchy" with the show's executive producer Paris Barclay.
"On set at @SonsofAnarchy with my favorite person @Harparbar this is so cool! #SOAFX"
According to Huffington Post, Lea Michele is set to play Gertie, a single mother who works as a waitress at a truck stop and who has a connection to Jax Teller's mom, Gemma (played by Katey Sagal). Lea Michele, who stars as Rachel Berry in TV musical "Glee," is only scheduled to appear on the sixth episode.
Lea Michele's joining the "Sons of Anarchy" season 7 has long been rumored. Last April, Zap2It reported that an exchange of tweets between "Sons of Anarchy" producer Paris Barclay and creator Kurt Sutter implied that Rachel Berry will come in the show soon.
Sutter also teased about a star-studded final season during the "Sons of Anarchy" panel in the recent San Diego Comic-Con although Lea Michele was not mentioned. Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson are confirmed to appear in the motorcycle club-themed show, though.
More about Lea Michele, the 27-year-old actress, seems to be finally moving on from her lost love due to the sudden death of boyfriend and co-Glee star Cory Monteith. A year after the latter's death due to heroine overdose, Michele was spotted with a new beau vacationing in Italy, the Boston Herald reported. The new guy? A 31-year-old aspiring model-actor named Matthew Paetz.
Lea Michelle and Matthew Paetz are said to be already in their third month as a couple, and the actress did not hide that she want to meet and find a new guy. In a February interview with Glamour, she opened up that she is ready to fall in love again.
"People have to understand that I can't be alone forever. Cory wouldn't want that."
"Sons of Anarchy" is still in the middle of filming the final season but its one hour and 45-minute long pilot episode is scheduled on September 9. Lea Michele's episode on "Sons of Anarchy" will air on October 14. The "Battlefield" singer is also starring on the final season of Glee on 2015.
