An online multiplayer game in which players build a community, train troops, and attack other players to earn gold and elixir, Clash of Clan has certainly become one of today's most addicting games. Here are some tips on how you can maximize your resources and outnumber your opponents!
1. Know Your Troops' Costs
Always keep in mind all the resources you have available in your village and calculate how many resources your attacking army will cost you. After that, when you attack, look at how many available resources you can get from your enemies and see if it's worth it. For example, if you have an army which cost around 3000 elixirs, and you can get from your enemy only 2500 elixirs, it's not worth it and you will want to look for another target.
2. Train troops while raiding opponents
Every second counts. You will want to "overtrain" troops while you are raiding. For example, when your camps are full of troops, put in training other troops and they will be trained as soon as you start raiding a village and start dropping your troops there. For example, it will take you around 5 seconds for a target, another 30 seconds to plan your attack and 3 minutes to destroy your victim. During this time, your troops are training and you will be ready for another raid.
3. Trophies are not a priority
As soon as you start battling with stronger opponents, you will want to lose some battles in order to lose some Trophies, and to battle with weaker victims. As soon as you feel that you are getting decent opponents you can handle, try to stay at that range of Trophies.
4. Know when to give up on a raid
Clash of Clans in raiding is more or less like a war in real life. There will always be tricks on your opponent's sleeves, like traps and bombs that can get you caught off guard. This means that you will lose a good amount of troops fast, and you should always know when to give up on a raid, not to sacrifice your troops anymore. If you see that you have no chance of winning, just back off.
