Twitter explodes with reactions to Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman costume!

Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman costume was a major buzz in Saturday's Comic Con, even more than Zac Snyder's (yet another) tease of the Ben Affleck Batman close up.

The "Fast and Furious" star was only recently confirmed for the role, and last Saturday, Comic Con fans got first look at her outfit for the rumored Justice League boot-up.

"Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is rolling with the punches ever since casting was confirmed. Fans apparently disapproved of Snyder's casting choices, initially with Ben Affleck for Batman, given the relative lukewarm response to him as Daredevil.

Fans also wonder if Gal Gadot is a perfect fit for the Wonder Woman role. The earliest favorite was Megan Fox, with fan-made art and photos circulating the rumor mill, pegging her for the role.

As expected, the Twitter community was surprisingly unanimous on the first official reveal of Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman costume. Comments came within minutes of Snyder's post:

"I absolutely LOVE the new Wonder Woman costume! Go @GalGadot - you look awesome! #SDCC"

"DC: 'Here's a dimly lit pic of Wonder Woman with a desaturated version of her costume!' You are gritty and dark now, we get it."

"Okay but for real, can we just stop putting Wonder Woman in high heels? I think a Greek warrior person, of all people, should get flats."

"If I were Wonder Woman I might avoid platform heels but then again you could stash house keys or tiny familiars in there so who knows."

The triumvirate of Justice League heroes were present at Saturday's Comic Con, an official assemble of sorts. The rumored introduction to the Justice League film series is still in the early stages of production, with a release date yet to be confirmed (latimes.com).

Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman costume is the latest in a series of costume reveals, with Ben Affleck's Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman teased earlier on.
