American Idol Season 14 auditions are about to end with its second to the last stop in Nashville on Wednesday, July 30. (A different day is set up for registration.)
The Fox show will meet Idol hopefuls at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium early Wednesday morning. Although they can camp out outside of the stadium, they will only be permitted to start lining up at 6AM. They will be given wristbands as early as 7AM and can then enter the venue right away.
Fox requires Idol auditioners to be 15-28 years old (as of June 1, 2014) and must be eligible to work in the US.
American Idol Season 14 auditions will then take about a month before having its last stop at the Cow Palace in San Francisco on September 29.
Bus auditions, which were divided for the East and West Coast, also visited various cities from July 9 to 21. The stops included Portland (OR and ME), Columbus, Reno, Albuquerque, Amarillo, Branson, Kansas City, Richmond, Myrtle Beach, and Tallahassee.
Couldn't go to any of the venues? Aspiring future superstars can still audition online.
The show's advanced online casting asks for aspirants to register online at the American Idol website. They can also use their Facebook account to log in. It will then ask for an audition clip or a Youtube link of the person auditioning while singing to be sent to the producers of the show.
People can also suggest someone they think has a shot at becoming the next Idol. The Nominate An Idol section of the official American Idol season 14 auditions page will accept nominations for a possible candidate.
Passers of the audition series will then proceed to Hollywood for more vigorous challenges.
American Idol season 13 judges Jenifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick, Jr. as well as host Ryan Seacrest will be coming back for the 14th season in 2015.
