George Clooney Money Monster features the amazingly handsome actor as a TV show host who suddenly gets taken as hostage by a gunman while he was on-air on his show. George Clooney Money Monster is then compelled to reveal some high-stakes secrets to his audience in order to live.
Following Jamie Linden's script, the hostage taker is actually a man who lost all of his money after following George Clooney Money Monster's advice. He threatens to kill George Clooney Money Monster if the cameras are turned off during the hostage crisis he initiated.
This new thriller, George Clooney Money Monster, is directed by the "Panic Room" star herself, Jodie Foster. Just recently, Foster directed an episode of "House of Cards," a top-rated political thriller on Netflix. Moreover, she also has experience when it comes to directing movies, including "The Beaver" of 2011, showcasing the acting skills of Jennifer Lawrence and Mel Gibson. She also got an Emmy nod last year for directing an episode of "Orange is the New Black." George Clooney Money Monster, however, is the 1st time for this duo to work together.
TriStar Productions has acquired George Clooney Money Monster's worldwide rights and has been scheduled to start filming early next year. The original plans were to start the George Clooney Money Monster's production stages in the spring of next year, once George Clooney Money Monster is done shooting for "Hail Caesar" for the Coens.
Producers for George Clooney Money Monster are Lara Alameddine and Daniel Dubiecki of The Allegiance Theater, and Smokehouse's Grant Heslov and George Clooney Money Monster himself. As reported, the upcoming George Clooney Money Monster film has a $30 million budget.
It looks like George Clooney Money Monster is quite busy this year and next year, since he has also been selected to cast in Brad Bird's "Tomorrowland," which Disney has scheduled to release in May.
