News flash! GTA 5 Zombies DLC rumors abound, along with a handful of leaked content.
The GTA 5 Zombies DLC is but one of the few leaks Rockstar Games is bound to ignore, but insiders confirm more than a handful of features to come with GTA 5, scheduled for release later this year.
The new game is set in the city of Los Santos, an area within the state of San Andreas featured in Grand Theft Auto 4. Paired with the zombie leak is renewed hope for a Jet Pack spawn, or Easter Egg at the very least.
Gamers are already linking clues to jet packs, strewn over the map in the game's campaign mode. One in particular refers to a sign on Trevor's hangar, which reads "Jack Sheepe Servicing-Tri Manifold, paired with a mysterious "R-108" code.
It's rumored the sign's letters could be rearranged to spell out "Jet Pack Confirmed," but it's really anybody's guess. With a bit of an overreach, Jack Sheepe may refer to the stage name of porn star Jack Steed, who played a role in "The Rocketeer" remake.
Connecting the dots (farfetched as it may seem), Jack Sheepe + The Rocketeer =Jet Pack. Besides, Easter Egg Hunts are meant to be difficult, so the connection is likely (ibtimes.co.uk).
On to the GTA 5 Zombies DLC rumor: a source claims a handful of DLC features and missions, including a casino DLC with three mini games, also new assassination missions (12), IAA and Trevor missions.
The missions are identifiable in the game's source code: for example, assassin missions are coded as assassin_skydive and assassin_cablecar. The GTA 5 Zombies DLC rumor is found in the middle of the string, as "main_ZMB."
It's hard to ignore the reference, but Rockstar Games is tight-lipped about the rumors, as expected. Looks like gamers will have to wait till the GTA 5 Zombies DLC release date for the confirmation (gameranx.com).
