Kelly Osbourne is facing charges in a lawsuit filed by an ex-landlord, as reported by MSN entertainment. The landlord said that Osbourne caused $50,000 worth of damages to the rented apartment.
The landlord claimed that Osbourne allowed her dogs to take a poop in her apartment.
The star first filed a lawsuit against her landlord for not refunding her security when she vacated the property. But, according to reports from TMZ the landlord is getting even by suing Osbourne.
Arshia Refoua said it was just rightful for her to keep Osbourne's #18,700 security deposit after leaving the apartment in a chaotic state.
Arshia said that Kelly Osbourne has left the apartment with holes on the walls, destroying the hardwood floors, with the dog's urine and poops scattered everywhere.
Arshia further said that Osbourne left the bathtub on, which has caused flooding in her apartment, and the ones below her floor.
Her ex-landlord is suing for $50,000 charges.
In California law, the landlord would double the damages to pay if it has been found he has unjustly kept the security deposit.
In her own legal case, Osbourne stated that she was suing for punitive damages for having been referred to as a "filthy slob."
KellyOsbourne said the landlord did not check the property when she was about to move out. She was just surprised to receive an email after moving out. The email stated the deposit had to be retained in exchange for the alleged damages left in the apartment.
