"Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" was a huge success that's why many people can't wait to see how "Mission Impossible 5" will fair in the box office. The fifth installment is still on its early stage of production and the cast hasn't even been completed yet. All we know is that Tom Cruise will reprise his role as Ethan Hunt and the movie will be directed by Christopher McQuarrie.
Jeremy Renner (William Brandt) and Simon Pegg (Benji Dunn) also confirmed that they will be returning for the "Mission: Impossible 5". Paula Patton (Jane Carter) and Ving Rhames (Luther Stickell) were rumored to make a comeback, but they haven't made any confirmation yet.
A new addition to the cast is Swedish actress Rebecca Ferguson, who is known for her role in the British TV series "The White Queen". Also in talks to join the movie is Alec Baldwin, who recently finished filming "Still Alice".
The cast and crew are now gearing up for "Mission Impossible 5", which will be shot in London. Since the film franchise is famous for its amazing stunts, then the actors need to be really fit for their scenes. Simon Pegg told Event magazine, "I thought I'd ask Tom Cruise for some exercise tips. He's 51, looks fantastic."
The 44-year old comedian continued, "I was asking what he did after filming because I thought if I had his secret I'd do the same. And then he told me - like two hours of wind sprints, things I hadn't even heard of, endless hours of it." Pegg got overwhelmed by the workout regime and said: "So I thought f**k that... I'll just watch what I eat."
In a separate interview with The Mail, the star of "Shaun of the Dead" revealed how depressed he was filming the third installment of "Mission Impossible". Pegg said. "I've never been more miserable than stuck in a hotel room when I went out to film Mission: Impossible 3."
The English actor explained, "It was the first big Hollywood film I shot. I didn't know LA, or anybody there, and I didn't know the wasteland that is Beverly Hills." He continued, "I have separation anxiety. I've had long, dark thoughts about what I do. I knew I should be happy and I knew the fact I wasn't was something I couldn't admit... because you have got something so many people want."
Now that "Mission Impossible 5" is confirmed to shoot in London, then I'm pretty sure Simon Pegg is very happy about it because he is close to his hometown.
