Malaysia Airlines found, at least some of the remains from flight MH 17.
An article in The Straits Times Asia states that not all of the remains of the 298 people in the ill-fated flight may be recovered. This news was announced by Dutch police Gerard Bouman last Monday.
Bouman reiterated that the families have been informed of the situation.
He had these things to say about the tragedy:
"I would love to give a guarantee that all the remains will come back, and all possessions, but... I believe the chances are not very good that we will get it all,"
"What we found in the body bags in Ukraine was indescribable. The contents were horrible, hardened people whose work this is are finding it hard to process. Bits and pieces all mixed, big and small, were found in the bags,"
Malaysia Airlines found. But, Dutch and Australian investigative teams had to leave the ill-fated site last Monday, as dangerous fighting raged on.
The personal belongings of the people from the downed flight have been handed over to Dutch government officials.
Dutch justice ministry spokesman Lodewijk Hekking refuted this report, in an interview with AFP, saying:
"Last Friday two investigators were on the site, where they collected a handful of personal belongings - passports and other small items - which they took with them,"
Malaysia Airlines found, but things will never be the same again. Families of the victims wished things would have been different. But, the return of their loved ones, of course, is just wishful thinking.
