Alicia Keys pregnant news broke the internet earlier today as the Grammy-winning singer took to Instagram the announcement of her and husband Swiss Beatz's second baby. The revelation of the couple's second child coincided with their fourth wedding anniversary, and follows recent news about how the singer has been working on her new album to be released early 2015.
According to a report from Hello!, Alicia Keys pregnant news was first shared by the singer and her rapper - music producer husband via Instagram.
The "Empire State Of Mind" hit singer posted a photo of her and Swizz cradling her growing baby bump, with the caption: "Happy Anniversary to the love of my life @therealswizzz !! And to make it even sweeter we've been blessed with another angel on the way!! You make me happier than I have ever known! Here's to many many more years of the best parts of life!"
Swizz, who's real name is Kasseem Dean, posted a photo similar to what Alicia Keys uploaded, with the caption: "Love is life & life is love and we're so excited for another GIFT from up above. Happy Anniversary my Goddess 4 years of greatness & cheers to 100 plus more inshallah @aliciakeys"
The Hello! report said Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz wed on the French island of Corsica on July 31, 2010. They have a three-year-old son named Egypt Dean.
Beatz has three more children from previous relationships, said an ABC News report.
In October of last year, Alicia Keys confessed to ABC News that she would wait a bit to have her second child. "That's down the road, definitely down the road," she said.
The recent Alicia Keys pregnant news follows the singer's announcement earlier this month that she has returned to the studio to record a new "back-to-basics" album. According to a Breathecast report, the said album is slated for release early 2015.
"With this album, I find I have much more I want to talk about. This album is more about the concept, the thought I'm trying to get across, where in the past it's been more about the melody. This time it's more about what we're going through as human being," Keys said to Women's Wear Daily.
According to the magazine feature and Breathecast report, there have also been rumors that the "Girl On Fire" singer will be having a world tour right after her sixth album release. Reps of the singer have not said anything about the news.
