Samsung Galaxy Note 4 specs and release date: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be launched in September. According to Latino Post, the next generation phone and tablet hybrid is expected to be unveiled during the upcoming 2014 IFA Annual Congress in Berlin. Speculations about an iris scanner to be included in this phablet have recently created buzzes online. Samsung Exynos Twitter account teases that the iris scanner might be introduced in the upcoming phablet.
The image illustrates a smartphone with an eye scanner on display. The diagram has a list of expenses for electricity, mobile and grocery bills with an option to "pay", suggesting that the feature could be used for making payments. Digital Times noted that Samsung's social media post "obviously points to an iris scanner being featured in an upcoming device."
According to Value Walk, Samsung will likely release a model that will be powered by a new 8 core Samsung Exynos 5433 processor. Speculations sparked that the eye scanning technology will be a key feature of the Note 4.
Value Walk also conveyed that media reports from Korea point to another key feature of this device, an extremely powerful camera unit that is rumored to be included in this new phablet. Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Note 4 will include optical image stabilization technology to produce clearer, blur-free images. The next generation phablet is expected to have 16-megapixel ISOCELL sensors, one that first appeared in Galaxy S5. This is presumed from an internal Samsung roadmap leaked online last year that showed the company's plan to take in this kind of sensors on its flagship smartphones throughout 2014.
Gospel Herald reported that the phablet will allegedly feature an S Pen stylus, same with the one included with the Galaxy Note 3. Buzzes points to additional features to be included in Note 4 such as fingerprint sensor and heart rate monitor just like the Galaxy S5.
