Celebrities take sides on the Orlando Bloom Justin Bieber fight, and fans took to social media to express support.
Looks like the supposed Orlando Bloom Justin Bieber fight won't let up anytime soon. Bieber is revving up the support of fans, and Bloom has plenty of celebrity buddies in support of team Orlando.
The brief scuffle which occurred Tuesday night at an Ibiza restaurant has taken a life on its own. Whether there really were punches thrown is yet to be confirmed. The video only showed the two exchanging heated words before breaking up.
Celebrities immediately rallied behind Orlando in a bid for a real fist fight of sorts. One of the more notable supporters was "127 Hours" star James Franco.
In Wednesday's "The Colbert Report," Stephen Colbert asked James about his thoughts on the Orlando Bloom Justin Bieber fight, and whether things have changed after news of the incident went viral online and on social media.
"Speaking of relationships where do you come down on this whole Bieber Orlando Bloom situation?"
"I'm team Bloom, I gotta say."
Alyssa Milano's tweet was loud and clear "#TeamOrlando," and his "Lord of the Rings" co-star also drummed up the support of the shire in his Twitter post: . "@TheLadBible: Orlando has won infinite lad points after punching Justin Bieber last night in Ibiza For the shire! https://t.co/yotFnVReEj"
Fellow Canadian Stephen Amell (of TV's "Arrow" series) commented: "Orlando Bloom didn't try to punch Bieber. It looks like he tried to flick him in the head. That's way, WAY better."
It's likely Hollywood's got Orlando's back on this match-up. Bieber, however, took to social media with taunts, posting a photo of Orlando with head down, apparently in tears (or merely rubbing his eye). Some fans have requested Bieber take down the Instagram post.
Last Tuesday's Orlando Bloom Justin Bieber fight was supposedly over Orlando's now ex-wife Miranda Kerr, rumored to have been the "Girlfriend" singer's previous love interest (yahoo.com).
