Jada Pinkett-Smith Opens up Following Daughter Willow Smith's Bed Controversy; Laughs Off Marriage Trouble Rumors

Jada Pinkett-Smith has finally opened up following her daughter Willow Smith's bed controversy with good friend Moises Arias a couple of months ago.

The concerned mom, who previously admitted to being a non-traditional parent, sat down with Net-A-Porter's The Edit and defended her teenage daughter.

"Just don't pollute something that's not dirty," Jada said. After Willow and Moises' Instagram photo was released, Will and Jada were investigated by Child Protective Services. The couple was eventually cleared but were advised by authorities to closely monitor their children's social media accounts, according to Inquistr.

At that time, Jada said, "I want my kids to be happy and I want them to be themselves. I was saying to a friend the other day, 'Remember, our kids are not us.' They're not. Sometimes we're trying to fix things that happened to us or projecting unto them, and that's a terrible, terrible trap."

She added, "Here's the deal. There was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation. You guys are projecting your trash onto it and you're actually like cover pedophiles, and that's not cool."

Meanwhile, the doting mom and wife of actor Will Smith also talked about the never ending rumors surrounding their marriage, US Weekly reported.

"We used to have all these rules, but as you go on in your relationship, you just get into a flow. Will, to me, encompasses everything. It's almost as if calling him 'my husband' is too small of a word for what he means in my life... I think I had a very stuck idea of what a husband looks like, what a wife should be."

Jada admitted that breaking through the barriers of her ideologies when it comes to being husband and wife helped her to see Will and her marriage from a different perspective.

"Once I broke all of that, a whole new world opened for me and man, oh, man, I got to see him in all his glory," she revealed.
