5 Seconds Of Summer's 'Amnesia' is finally out!

The Australian rock group thinks they need to get amnesia just to forget a lost love in the new music video off their self-titled album. This is the third track from the album after 'She Looks So Perfect' and 'Don't Stop.'

The summer-themed music video has the members, Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings, and Michael Clifford singing in an abandoned warehouse, looking despondent as they remember happier times with the girls that they loved.

The boys sing about wanting to forget the “stupid little things” in the failed relationship.

“I wish that I could wake up with amnesia / And forget about these stupid little things / Like the way it felt to fall asleep next to you / And the memories I never can escape,” the Australian rockers lament in the song.

The nostalgic ballad is a complete opposite to their first hit song, 'She Looks So Perfect,' where they sang about a girl in American Apparel underwear. The single earned them worldwide recognition with their cheeky lyrics and quirky video.

Ed Sheeran made his own acoustic cover of the unusual love song during a performance for Capital FM. The British singer-songwriter got complimented by the Australian boys through Twitter.

The group also got a chance to open for another popular boy band, One Direction's tour “Where We Are” because of their sudden popularity from “She Looks So Perfect.”

5 Seconds Of Summer's 'Amnesia,' however, reminisce and bemoan an old love. The flashbacks consist of activities teenagers usually do with their friends and girlfriends—borrowing their parents' station wagons, hitting golf balls off a cliff, and playing games with water guns while jumping into pools fully clothed.

The video ends with the boys watching the sunset, reflecting the lyrics of the heartbreaking song, “Tell me this is just a dream / Cause I'm really not fine at all.”
