Attack On Titan rumors are like ghosts who are searching for justice as they can't stop from buzzing.
Recently, there is a rumor that the AOT movie will premiere soon. But IDigitalTimes said that it is not true. However, the Attack on Titan live-action film has recently been confirmed and as a matter of fact, casts for the movie have already been announced. You can check out the previous report here.
Kdrama also reported the rumored premiere date, which said to be on July 26, 2014, of Attack On Titan season 2, but soon found out that the date was not true.
Next question is why the AOT season 2 takes too long to arrive. IdigitalTimes explained the reason for this:
"The truth is, there's a good reason why Wit Studios isn't working on the 'Attack on Titan' season 2 premiere just yet."
"Even after just one series, the show has covered a pretty substantial portion of the manga-a little more than half of it, in fact. The key words there are 'a little more.' It stands to reason that the second series will cover just about as much ground as the first series. And that means, if it came out right now, the anime would pass the material in the books."
Overall, the anime is still waiting on the manga to unfold. Additionally, iDigitalTimes said, "Attack on Titan" Season 1 covered Volume 1 through half of Volume 9. As of now, we are still awaiting the release of 14 and 15, which are expected to come out sometime at the end of 2014. We foresee "Attack on Titan".
After knowing this fact, it only means that there is no definite time and date for the season 2. For the movies, fans need to wait for further announcement.
