Robert Pattinson's sister, Lizzy, has impressed the judges and passed the first round of closed-doors auditions of singing competition "X Factor U.K.", said a report from The Mirror. The next round of auditions will have the "Twilight" star's sister singing at the Wembley Stadium, where the next round of auditions will be held.
The 31-year-old aspiring singer reportedly wowed the show's judges, namely Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole, and Melanie B. According to a report from E!Online, a source said Robert Pattinson's sister Lizzy "blew the judges away with her husky, soulful vocals."
"She's different to usual "X Factor" contestants-she really stands out. She could go all the way," the source added.
Robert Pattinson's sister Lizzy has performed gigs in London and Mallorca along with her two bandmates.
"She didn't mention she was related to him to any judges or producers," a source told The Mirror about Lizzy's association with her movie star brother. "It's important to her she does not fall into the trap of just becoming 'Rob's sister.'"
"Rob loves his sister. They are incredibly close," a source told E!Online. "He has always been enormously supportive of Lizzy and her career. They have even sung together."
The E!Online report also added that the 28-year-old Pattinson has been a fan of the TV singing competition for years. "I know "X Factor" goes against my musical beliefs and I shouldn't love it, but I do," the movie star once told The Sun.
"I really do. I am borderline obsessed with Simon Cowell shows and spend my nights in bed watching them on my tablet," he added.
