UPDATE: Hello Games' Sean Murray confirmed that No Man's Sky will be coming to the PC after the PS4 release.

As Sean Murray told EDGE, Hello Games always had PC in mind. And while Murray describes his game console-y, he did shed some light on that term:

"I actually got in a bit of trouble for saying that we wanted the game to deel really console-y" says Murray. "We've always had PC in mind but in my head (console-y) means solid framerate and immediate controls. I think a PC game can be 'console-y' and it's intended as a compliment, but I get in trouble for saying it."

Games that strongly encourage exploration often carry a strong appeal in the industry. Soon, No Man's Sky will take the lead in offering the best exploration to its players. However, fans have very little idea on what the game will be about.

As of the moment, the game is seen to feature planetary exploration, deep oceans, space-based battles, and potential predators on the various procedurally-generated worlds which was announced at VGX 2013 alongside a trailer. Each world has its own ecosystem with potentially unforgiving conditions, such as desert worlds with large carnivorous worms.

Players are initially given a totally uncharted universe to explore, where information about any planet's characteristics and life forms may be shared and updated with others.

Dave Lee of BBC News felt that the game "stole the show" at the E3 2014 conference. The title won the show's "Best Original Game" and "Best Independent Game" by a panel of game critics, as well as receiving the "Special Commendation for Innovation" title.

For starters, No Man's Sky will be coming to the PS4 with no confirmation on it being a cross-platform title. Hello Games managing director, Sean Murray, revealed that the PS4 will merely be used for the console launching of the game. He revealed his desire for a PC version of it.

However, the game developers will be taking a long time for the PC version of No Man's Sky. This is to avoid harming the project when performing a major expansion.

Once the PC version is a confirmed thing, Alex Wiltshire revealed that they might be allowing mods. After all, it is a vast universe and player's creativity is encouraged in the No Man's Sky. With that being said, are you excited for some space exploring?
