After Vin Diesel wrapped up filming "Fast and Furious 7", is he having post-filming depression? I'm not even sure if there's such a thing, but there are some actors who feel depressed after they've finished shooting a movie.
The 47-year old actor's case is different though because he lost not only a colleague, but a really good friend. Paul Walker died of a freak car accident in 2013 and that almost caused the movie to discontinue filming. Thankfully, Paul Walker's brothers Cody and Caleb agreed into finishing some of his scenes in "Fast and Furious 7".
During an interview with "Live with Kelly and Michael", Vin Diesel opened up his feelings regarding the death of Paul Walker. He told Michael Strahan, "It's a heavy thing, Michael. You know?" The actor explained, "I grew up in the bouncer world, and we lost people while we were bouncing. But the brotherhood in Paul Walker was something completely different."
The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star added, "It was someone that we ... we grew up in the business together, and we became famous together, and we represented the biggest franchise together." Diesel also said, "He was my partner, and it's a strange thing to ... I've been acting all my life and they don't teach you in acting, how to mourn someone and simultaneously pretend they're in a scene with you."
The producers and director of the "Fast & Furious 7"used computer-generated effects on the scenes of Cody and Caleb Walker to make them appear like their late brother Paul Walker. It must be tough for Vin Diesel to do scenes with Paul Walker's brothers because they remind him more of his best friend.
The actor that plays Dominic Toretto said, "It's one of the darker moments in this, in my journey." He added, "Yeah. Yeah guys, you know it's a rough one. You all had people you love that passed away."
This is really sad and you can see Vin Diesel and Paul Walker together for the last time on "Fast and Furious 7" so make sure not to miss this film when it hits the theaters on April 3, 2015.
