Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden started dating just three months ago but it seems the two are getting serious. After a quick getaway to France and the Mediterranean , they are back in Hollywood and the Good Charlotte guitarist claimed in an interview that he's very happy with the state of their relationship.
The People magazine chanced upon the rocker at the Alt 98.7 Penthouse Party in Hollywood Tower where the Good Charlotte is playing. The magazine then asked about the status of the Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden dating relationship.
"I'm really happy right now," he said, adding that his love life has a positive influence in his music.
"It's same for any man, no matter what they do. It drives you. All people, I think, react the same way to the same situations ... like we were saying with Joel being a father ... we all want to be the best we can be," he said.
Benji Madden was previously linked to Holly Madison, Paris Hilton and Eliza Doolitle. Even if Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden dating relationship started in May, the 35-year-old rocker already met her parents during the 4th of July reunion at her family's house in Florida.
And the "Sex Tape" star is already taking a liking to using his name when making reservations, according to OK! Magazine. Benji Madden's real name is Benjamin Levi Combs and Cameron Diaz has adopted the name to order out.
"Cam is head over heels for Benji, and she thought it would be cute to use his last name. She didn't think she could use Madden, because that would be a dead giveaway that it's her," the publication added.
When the Good Charlotte guitarist found out during a romantic dinner at home, he was apparently touched by the gesture.
"He noticed the name when their food arrived, and he thought it was funny," the source told the magazine.
