"Dating Naked" update features the contestants getting to know each other a little better as they start pairing and going out on dates amidst a lush tropical island setting. Up on the dating rampage first are Dianne and Keegan.
According to NY Mag, VH1 brought the concept of naked dating couples to life on the boob tube on the belief that it is an off-the-wall dating experiment. The show's introduction prompts the host to ask the contestants to reveal everything - literally (private parts and body decors on intimate areas) and figuratively (personality glitches and quirks) - for judgment.
In the Episode 3 featured in this "Dating Naked" update, the first two hopefuls Dianne and Keegan, whom Metro referred to as the dating originals, start things off by going out together. Their clumsy introduction was akin to a prom king and queen being acquainted to have their very first sexual experience, commented NY Mag.
The pair goes spearfishing using a three-pronged spear. Their catch of the day is a rather smallish guppy. Although the activity may have been quite fun, "shy" Keegan made for a silent date. Diane exerts effort in sparking a conversation, albeit strained and uncomfortable. At the end of the day, they just sleep it off, hoping that tomorrow's date would be better.
Second date pairs Keegan with Jesse. They go on an all-natural spa date where they give each other mud rubdowns. According to NY Mag, their activity makes the whole date seem like soft porn. And this time around, Keegan's shyness is no obstruction as his buff body did much of the talking for him during their wrestling match (a real one by the beach, not alluding to sex).
While Keegan has fun with Jesse in their mud-spa-cum-mud-wrestling date, Dianne is engrossed with Dan, a skinny dude who is not at all shy like Keegan. He immediately updates her on his love life and talks on and on about other aspects of his life, admitting openly that he never drank and lost his virginity at 24. NY Mag reported that Dianne was receptive to his personality throughout.
As to how things will turn out for these pairings, viewers have a lot more to expect in the next "Dating Naked" update.
