After releasing HTC One E8 and Desire 616 for the Indian Market, the pioneer of smartphones is now getting ready to launch a new version of the HTC One M8 with Windows Phone and it could be heading to Verizon with the name of the HTC One W8.
The HTC One M8 is said to be arriving on the market in the US on 21 August and it will have a price tag of $610 if you want the handset unlocked. The contract price should come in at $199. But what are the new features that this handset will offer?
According to the motoring crunch, the HTC One M8 or W8 will run on Windows Phone 8.1, which was revealed last week and comes with new apps, variety of options in SMS messages, alarm snooze settings that are customizable, improvements to Live Tiles for Xbox music and more.
The HTC One M8 Windows handset will have the dual Boom Sound speakers on the front to boost audio and it should make sounds louder and clearer.
It will have better imaging thanks to the ultra-pixel depth sensing duo lens camera, which will be 5MP. Photos should be crisp and clear.
The HTC One M8 Windows phone should have support for Voice over LTE so that owners can make calls using the 4G connection.
It was also said that the HTC One M8 will have a high-powered quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor which came in at 2.3GHz, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of memory. The display is 5 inches with 1,080 resolution.
While HTC haven't released any official statement regarding this the device, rumor has it that it will come out on 21 August.
