In terms of design and display, the Nokia Lumia 1020 has a very nice and unique design, all thanks to the big and round shooter on the back of the smartphone. This smartphone is also available in multiple colors: black, white, green and orange. It is thinner (dimensions: 5.39 x 2.80 x 0.39 inches) and heavier (weight: 167 grams) than its predecessor. The display is an AMOLED model that measures 5 inches and that renders a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and superior pixel ratio of 441 ppi.
For the hardware and OS, the Lumia 1020 has a dual core processor working at 1.5 GHz that is paired with a Snapdragon chipset from Qualcomm. It supports 2 GB of RAM and its operating system can be upgraded to Windows Phone 8.1.
Meanwhile, the Lumia 930 has a more powerful quad core processor working at 2.2 GHz which is paired with a Snapdragon 800 chipset from Qualcomm. The device also has 2 GB of RAM and runs on WP 8.1.
For battery and camera specs, the Lumia 930 has a battery with a capacity of 2420 mAh, but can only last 11 hours and 20 minutes of talking time. The Lumia 1020 on the other hand, is reported to last up to 13 hours and 20 minutes of talking time.
The Lumia 1020 sports a 41MP primary camera, while the Lumia 930 (much like the Lumia 1520) sports a 20MP main camera.
