New updates and possible spoilers for AMC's The Walking Dead season 5 have been revealed.
Entertainment weekly reports that The Walking Dead Creator Robert Kirkman talked about the possible character deaths in season 5, and when will it take place.
"It's kinda worse than that. Because I got a pretty good idea when all of them are dying. To a certain extent, if we follow the comic, like possibly even more than [showrunner] Scott [Gimple] knows."
Kirkman further elaborates by saying.
"So I'm always like...two years, three years, six months, two weeks, oh, God this is awful! It's really rough. Doing the comic, it was fine because it was just lines on a paper. Whatever. We're killing that guy. Cool. But the show, it sucks because we all work together, we hang out and have a great time. But, you know, the story's gotta get done and people gots to die, as I like to say. It's pretty rough."
"You can't tell 'em, because we change our minds all the time. And that's the other really bad thing about it. We can't really give them that much warning because there's always a chance that we'll get into actually writing the scripts after we plan things out and we're like, 'Nope, that character's living.' Which has happened many times. So we don't want to have many false news giving situations."
Huffingtonpost.com has reported that Andrew Lincoln teased fans of which character will die in season 5 in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
"It is an inevitable part of this show," Lincoln said. "It's one of the great things, I think, that you have real jeopardy for favorite characters. It won't be without its share of death this season."
His co-star Norman Reedus also added more fun in teasing fans by saying "grab your tissues".
"I can't tell you if or who would die but it is 'The Walking Dead,' we sort of have a track record of being fearless when it comes to that sort of thing."
Reedus also talked about the season 5 premiere, which the fans got a glimpse of it in the trailer was shown several days ago.
"This episode is huge, it's so large of an episode and there's so much going on. There were parts of it that were amazing and I was looking at Andy [Lincoln] and going, 'How are they going to put this on television? It's so gnarly.' And then he would lean over and go, 'Dude, you say that about every season.'"
It was reported before that four major characters are goin the die in season 5 and these are Carol Peletier, Glenn Rhee, Beth Greene, and Abraham Ford.
Both Carol and Beth's death were hinted on the first episode of season 5 were in they Rick Grimes and others escaped the Terminus, but a photo from the Spoiling Dead fans Facebook page revealed that Carol was hit by a car in the show's bts.
As for Glenn, The Walking Dead comic book creator Robert Kirkman has revealed that Steven Yuen character will die a gruesome death similar to his comic book counterpart.
THR conducted an interview with Kirkman regarding Glenn's death in the show and new cast member Seth Gilliam as Father Gabriel.
"I absolutely love it. It means people care, and people are paying attention. So keep those rumors flying," Kirkman said. "Every season we try to bring in new characters that add something in their own way to the cast, much in the way that Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and Rosita (Christian Serratos) brought a new narrative and more character dynamics to the show. Seth Gilliam's character -- whoever it may be -- brings a lot of conflict and really cool character traits to the mix."
As for Abraham, CelebDirtyLaundtry reports that Abraham is one of the candidates that fans voted to die in season 5 along with other characters Dr. Eugene Porter, and Michonne, but it is not yet confirmed whether this will happen in the show.
