Anderson Silva broken leg update features "The Spider's" guarantee that he will be completely healed when he faces Nick Diaz next year. The former champion also sent an encouraging message to NBA star Paul George.

The former middleweight champion has been successful with his injury rehabilitation thus far, as he prepares for his UFC return against former number one welterweight contender Nick Diaz. The two are set to meet on January 31st at UFC 183 in Las Vegas.

"The Spider" spoke to MMA Junkie about the latest developments of his recovery and how he feels going through the ordeal, from enduring the pain, to getting back up and preparing to be back to his old fighting form.

"I recall everything since the beginning, all the phases of my career," he said, speaking about the Anderson Silva broken leg update. "It makes me what I am today, and I just keep going with my career."

Anderson Silva has begun therapy for his injury in the beginning of the year, and has been improving gradually but surely. As of this writing, the man who is deemed by many as the "Greatest Of All Time" gave his assurance that he will be in tip-top shape come fight night.

"I've been doing a lot of physical therapy, and right now, it's at 95 percent and improving," he added about the Anderson Silva broken leg update. "On the day of the fight, it's going to be 100 percent."

In another sporting realm, Indiana Pacers star Paul George also suffered a vicious broken leg injury during a Team USA basketball showcase last week. He already underwent surgery for his injury, and is slated to undergo rehab, which will likely make him miss the upcoming NBA season.

Anderson Silva, who had suffered the same fate, gave some encouraging words for the beleaguered NBA star.

"I had the same injury champ, I know what you are going trough right now, but just stay calm and strong, you'll be back soon. #PrayForGeorge," Silva said through his personal Instagram account.
