Today is Jang Geun Suk's birthday and he celebrated it this past weekend with a two-day event that included a podcast and a photo exhibit. The photo exhibit included photos of the actor taken by his fans. And the profits from the exhibit will be donated to charity. He also held a podcast to spend some time with his fans.

But while you are enjoying a slice of birthday cake to celebrate the special day of the 'You're Beautiful," "Mary Stayed Out All Night," "Love Rain" and "Pretty Man" star, you may want to note the birthdays of some other k-drama celebs that will be a year older this month.

August 5: Tomorrow is Kwon Sang Woo's birthday. He's currently starring in the drama "Temptation," which reunites him with his former co-star Choi Ji Woo. The drama also stars Park Ha Sun. The actor will be 38. He became a star when he appeared in the comedy film "My Tutor Friend" and in the drama "Stairway To Heaven."

August 15: Song Ji Hyo, who currently appears on the variety show "Running Man" and whose last drama appearance was playing the divorced Doctor Oh on "Emergency Couple," turns 33 this year. She played the ballerina Min Hyo Rin in "Princess Hours, Lady Ye So Ya in "Jumong" and the tragic queen in the film "A Frozen Flower."

Also born on August 15 is Ko Joon Hee. Last year she appeared in the drama "Queen of Ambition" and the film "Marriage Blues." This year she plays Eun Soo in the film "Red Carpet." She turns 29 this year.

August 17: Yoo Seung Ho will celebrate his 20th birthday in the armed services this year as he finishes up his mandatory military service. His last drama was "Missing You" with Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yoochun. He has not yet chosen a comeback role.

August 18: A Pink's Jung Eun Ji turns 21 this year. She currently plays a talented trot singer in the comedy "Trot Lovers," which co-stars Ji Hyun Woo and Shin Sung Rok.

August 19: Son Tae Young shares an August birthday with her actor husband Kwon Sang Woo. The couple recently announced that they were having their second child. Last year she appeared in "You're The Best Lee Soon Shin" and this year she can be seen in the drama "Into The Flames" and the film "Love War."

August 29: Bae Yong Joon, one of the first kkoniman (flower boy handsome) idols, has not acted since his cameo in the 2012 drama "King of Dramas." He is a majority shareholder in KeyEast Entertainment.
