Klaus and his friends (or frenemies) enjoyed teasing fans with The Originals season 2 spoilers during an interview with TVLine (via Enstars).
The CW earlier treated fans to sneak peak of a season two via the Comic Con trailer, featuring a Mikaelson family reunion that's bound to end in bloodshed and some interesting additions to the cast.
As a spin off to 'The Vampire Diaries,' 'The Originals' saw a number of crossover guest characters in the their first season, delighting its viewers of both shows. Fans are already anticipating this season's treat of familiar faces.
Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah's (Daniel Gillies) evil father, Mikael (Sebastian Roché) will be tormenting them once again after being resurrected by Davina. The same goes for their powerful witch mother, Esther (Alice Evans) whose ghost returns through one of the Harvest Girls. Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) will also be coming back, whether to hunt or side with his brothers is still unclear.
When asked which other 'Vampire Diaries' cast the 'The Originals' wanted to join their show, the group thought of Elena's aunt Jenna Sommers (Sarah Canning) or Silas as a desirable addition to their crew. Despite Aunt Jenna being killed by Klaus in 'Vampire Diaries,' with the show's track record on killing off and later on, resurrecting characters, it's not impossible to bring her back.
Whether Aunt Jenna will come back to life or not, viewers are eager for more 'The Originals' season 2 spoilers.
When Danielle Campbell, who plays the witch Davina, was asked by Enstars for more details on the coming season, she only laughed.
"I want spoilers too," the 19-year-old said about season two."So if you guys [hear] anything let me know."
She did, however, divulge some information about her character's power over Mikael, revealing that “she kind of has this thing on him that no one else does and it makes it really entertaining."
'The Originals' season 2 will premiere on October 6 at The CW.
