"Castle" fans can't get enough of season 7 spoilers!
When season 6 ended with Castle's unfortunate accident, fans can't help but wonder what will be in store for the protagonist in the next season.
New reports suggest that the focus will on the root of Castle's accident with Beckett leading the investigation. According to showrunner David Amman, Beckett will be focused in knowing the reason behind the accident.
"She's committed to getting to the bottom of what happened with Castle," Amann shared in his Give Me My Remote interview. "That's really her focus and her mission. She's going to do that, and she's going to take that as far as she can go to get answers. That's what she's focused on."
Meanwhile, executive producer Andrew Marlowe explained that despite the first few episodes focusing on the accident, the whole season will not be "filled up" with the incident. The producer also shared that it might only take them a few episodes to explain the accident and find its root.
"We're going to deal with it in the first couple of episodes, we're going to get back to the kinds of Castle episodes that we all know and love and expect, with a relationship that has deeper understanding, and also deeper curiosity to it," Marlowe said.
"And it'll also take that relationship to a much more interesting place, we feel. And so we know the fans were a little bit like, 'What are you guys doing?' We have something planned that we're kind of excited about, and we hope that people come back and play along."
Amann further mentioned that many questions will be answered after the second episode.
"Castle" season 7 will premiere on Monday, Sept. 29 at 10 p.m. on ABC.
