Tiger Woods has suffered from an injury, which, according to golf analysts, will decrease his chances of being able to play in the Ryder Cup, or in any other tournament at that. According to the statement made by US Captain Tom Watson on Monday, his latest injury "doesn't bode well right now."

After eight holes in the last round of the famous World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational, Tiger Woods had to withdraw because of the pain he felt on his back. A day after Tiger Woods decided to withdraw, he still does not know whether or not he will be playing in the PGA Championship that was scheduled this week.

Instead of heading over to the Valhalla Golf Club, Tiger Woods flew back to his house in South Florida on the afternoon of Sunday. His back was apparently heavily aggravated and this injury compelled him to change his mind and withdraw from this year's last major championship.

At present, Tiger Woods is resting, and, from the looks of it, will not be hitting golf balls anytime soon. Mark Steinberg, Tiger Woods' agent said through text, "He has to rest and get treatment and assess later. Pointless to make that decision now without proper time to give him the best chance."

This latest injury of Tiger Woods' actually started out on the 31st of March. He was playing in his 3rd tournament since he decided to return to the realm of competitive golf. While Tiger Woods was on his 2nd hole on the South Course, he said that he "jarred" his back when he fell back into a bunker and landed with a loud thud after he hit a shot from what he referred to as an awkward stance. This was a bit surprising since this happened on a hole that Tiger Woods had already won a record eight times on.

Despite this incident, Tiger Woods still opted to play on. Although it may seem heroic, the shots he made were anything but. The crowd was shocked when he left his tee shot on the 200-yard par-3 fifth 65 yards short.

Tiger Woods then decided to withdraw from the game after he hit his tee shot on the ninth 300 yards. After he made the swing, he was spotted doubling over and was in pain just a couple minutes later when he was trying to change his shoes.
