Evolve is an upcoming co-op multiplayer shooter being developed on Cry Engine. It is releasing exclusively on the current gen and PC. The game is shaping up to be the next Left 4 Dead type of multiplayer game, with its emphasis on cooperation between team members. Evolve is going for a different concept compared to Left 4 Dead with 4 players in co-op and one monster, which will be also controlled by a human player instead of an AI.
Evolve is being developed by Turtle Rock Studios, which might sound like a new studio but the developers have a proven track record in various games. So far, Evolve looks like a promising shooter for having fun with friends.
