The young actress said on her Twitter announcement: "I'm sooooo excited to be doing broadway for the first time, as Cinderella!! DREAMS DO COME TRUE!!"

This statement created buzz online and become a news.

She also told Vanity Fair on Friday, August 1, "I don't really celebrate. And besides, I still don't believe it is real!" she said. She answered this as she was asked on how she celebrated the news.

ABC News said that the young actress "is stepping into the sparkly shoes first worn by Tony-nominated Laura Osnes"
