Star Wars Episode 7 Spoilers: Is Darth Vader Back From The Dead? Will The Infamous Villain Be Played By A Wrestler?

Is Darth Vader appearing in Star Wars Episode 7? The rumor has been around since a year ago, ever since The Daily Express reported that Darth Vader will be resurrected in Star Wars Episode 7.

The article details that a source from within the movie's production company has stated that Darth Vader will be back as he is a vital part of the Star Wars franchise. The source allegedly said, "The plan is for Darth Vader to return and play a significant role in the new films."

Director J.J. Abrams has been very tightlipped about the storyline and plot of Star Wars Episode VII. Even then, casting and plot rumors abound. The most recent Star Wars Episode VII spoiler is that Darth Vader will indeed be back in the Star Wars universe, and he will be played by a wrestler.

Rumor has it that former WWE world champion Sheamus will be playing Darth Vader. This, after the wrestler was spotted in Ireland, staying near Skellig Michael where Star Wars Episode VII just happens to be shooting several scenes.

According to The Irish Mirror, reports that Sheamus was in Skellig Michael specifically because he might be shooting scenes as Darth Vader in that Irish island.

It's not farfetched that the wrestler is up for a Darth Vader role. He has played the villain during Star Wars promotional tours in the past. He is also the ideal height and built for the role, with the voice just likely filled in by actor James Earl Jones.

Now the wrestler himself has further fueled these rumors by neither confirming nor denying that he will indeed play Darth Vader. In a tweet, the wrestler said "I can't confirm that I won't not be reprising role of Darth Vader in Star Wars."

If indeed Darth Vader is back, it will be one of the biggest Star Wars episode 7 spoilers around, seeing as the villain was shown to have died in a previous Star Wars film.

Other wrestlers have made the big move from the ring to the big screen, and it won't be surprising if Sheamus is indeed the latest one to have made the jump. It will be remembered that The Rock Dwayne Johnson was a former wrestler. Meanwhile, Dave Bautista recently starred as Drax the Destroyer in the mega-hit Guardians of the Galaxy.
