New updates for the Assassin's Creed movie have been revealed.
According to reports from The Hollywood News Hound, "X-Men: Days of Future Past" star Michael Fassbender allegedly left the Assassin's Creed movie due to the lack of updates from the studio. Michael Fassbender was a proponent of the film plot being identical of the games' plot but according to reports, the plot has changed to a more "original" storyline that differs from the game.
The X-Men star once expressed his excitement of being part of Assassin's movie during an interview.
"Assassin's, I'm so happy with," Fassbender says. "I can't say anything more, but for a video game, the concept behind it, this idea of DNA memory, it is so interesting."
The movie website reported before that the Assassin's Creed movie will be a thriller in vein of the "Da Vinci" code movies and that it would feature no parkour sequences and the action scenes are similar to the ones shown on the Bourne movies.
But, reports from KpopStarz.com claimed that the movie's plot details will based on two Assassin's Creed games: Assassin's Creed Black Flag and the upcoming sequel Assassin's Creed Unity.
Adam Cooper and Bill Collage are rewriting the movie, who apparently did the script for 'Exodus: Gods & Kings'.
As for the release date, it was reported before that the movie was set on August 2015, but due to production and creative problems in the project, the producers might consider changing the release date of the movie.
