Youtube star and 'The Voice' finalist, Christina Grimmie's new single 'Must Be Love' is finally out!

The 20-year-old Grimmie has been garnering fans through her cover videos on Youtube. After nabbing the third place in NBC's 'The Voice' season 6, she signed a recording contract with Island Records despite getting an offer from Lil Wayne to sign with his label, Young Money Entertainment.

She released an original EP, 'Find Me' in June 2011 and later on, declared that she was going to stop doing covers and start writing her own songs.

'Must Be Love' is her first release for her second studio album (first from a major company). Grimmie's forthcoming album will hit shelves later this year. The 20-year-old worked with Elof Loelv on the upbeat love song, which talks about falling in love at first sight and recognizing the sentiment through the 'feelings' that the heart and body experiences.

Direct Lyrics calls Christina Grimmie's new single "so captivating, energetic, well-sung" and it was also compared to KT Tunstall circa "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" but with a more commercial sound.

Grimmie joined the rest of 'The Voice' contestants at the show's summer tour, which was kicked off last July 21 in San Antonio. It ended on August 2 in Washington. The tour featured some of the show's Top 3 contestants from season five (Josh Kaufman Jake Worthington and Christina Grimmie) and six (Tessanne Chin, Jacquie Lee, and Will Champlin). Dia Frampton (season one), Holly Tucker (season four), Jake Barker (season six), and Kristen Merlin (season six) also joined the tour.

'The Voice' season seven will premiere on September 22, 8pm at NBC.

The talented new singer also released a live performance of 'Must Be Love' to celebrate the release of the song. The single can be downloaded through iTunes here.
